This Privacy Notice explains how Felix Wernholm ("we", "us", "our"), an individual based in Sweden, collects and uses your personal data when you use Overlap (the "Service"). For the personal data described here, we act as the data controller.
1. Personal data we collect
- Account data: your name, email address, and login credentials.
- Profile data: any display name or profile image you choose to add.
- Service content: groups you create or join, availability you mark, and messages you send.
- Technical data: usage and telemetry, device identifiers, and IP address.
- Support data: messages you send us when you ask for help.
2. How and why we use your data
- To create and manage your account (performance of a contract).
- To provide and operate the Service's features (performance of a contract).
- To keep the Service secure and prevent fraud (legitimate interests).
- To improve and develop the Service (legitimate interests).
- To respond to your support requests (legitimate interests / contract).
Payment information is collected and processed directly by Paddle and is not handled by us.
3. Who we share data with
- Service providers / subprocessors that help us run the Service, such as cloud hosting and infrastructure providers.
- Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for processing the sale of Overlap Pro, payments, subscription management, tax compliance, and invoicing.
- Professional advisers such as legal or accounting advisers where needed.
- Authorities where required by law.
4. International transfers
Where your data is transferred outside the EEA/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
5. Data retention
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When it is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymise it, unless we are required to retain it to comply with legal obligations.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection supervisory authority. We aim to respond to requests within one month.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, such as encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies and similar technologies needed to keep you signed in and to run the Service. Where we use analytics, it is to understand and improve usage. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.
